Your arrival at Zermatt

Our house Jolimont is centrally located in the quiet area "Untere Steinmatte" (Map reference 9/C Nr. 993) with a nice spacious garden in which you can relax and unwind.

House Jolimont can be reached directly by taxi or in approximately 10 minutes by foot.

The various cablecars, bus stop, village center as well as shops, train station, bars and restaurants can all be reached within 2-10 minutes. The next bus stop is 300 meteres from us.

Arrival to Zermatt

Zermatt is at an altitude of 1600 m. It is located at the foot of the Matterhorn in the Valais Alps in the South of Switzerland. Travel from Visp through the Visper-Valley, to arrive in the village of Zermatt. In the mountains of Zermatt you will find 38 of the 76 european "four thousanders". The skiing area stretches from Theodol-Col (3300 m) and Testa Grigia (3480 m) to Cervinia in Italy.

Zermatt is a pedestrianised zone

Only electric cabs, electric buses or bicycles are permitted. Access for private transport is only permitted as far as Täsch (5 km before Zermatt). From Täsch, shuttle trains run every 20 minutes or cabs offer a shuttle service to and from Zermatt.
